great service!
great food!
i had the prawn biryani for dinner and paneer pakora, with masal chai tea for starters.
tea was epic, not many restaurants serve a tea pot of tea, i was able to have two cups of tea from it. best indian tea in Lethbridge!
Paneer Pakora was on par, not oily, very fresh and the chutneys were good (a bit runny, i prefer more of a thicker chutney)
Prawn biryani was best PRAWN Biryani i ever had. never had rasins in my biryani but it was a nice sweet touch.
also the raita (white sauce) that came with Biryani was probably the best freshest Raita i ever had.
great service, great food, nice friendly/jolly owner.
thank you Baadshah! -

I was at this restaurant yesterday, the service although was a tad slow was awesome, but I can't complain because I was the only customer there. The food was awesome as always. I had more then I was able to handle. The only complaint I have was having their children in the kitchen to which I think is a no no. I work in a restaurant kitchen and I know how hot the deep fryers, ovens, and dishwashers are, and to have children in the kitchen around food is just not safe for the public.

Unfortunately the faint repeated beeping of a microwave should of been a warning, but I had ordered by then. The curry arrived, chicken thrown into a thin sauce, with a lot of chilli zip, but not that much flavour. Overcooked nan bread - garlic ordered, but no flavour of garlic.
Overpriced mediocre food :( -

Hello,
Please note that this review is based on multiple experiences with this restaurant.
NB: The basis of my review will focus MAINLY on ONE area alone and, therefore, remains incomplete with respect to the remainder of the topics usually covered in a restaurant review. I WILL NOT BE REVIEWING THE FOOD.
The topic I am going to review is THE STAFF.
On various separate occasions from year to year, I have noticed one salient feature that remains consistent with this restaurant: the staff.
This restaurant remains HIGHLY understaffed. For example, on a Saturday night, dinner time, for a walk-in quoted take-out order wait time of 60 minutes is baffling. Furthermore, I do note that sales were lost as others walked out of the restaurant due to quoted wait times for dine-in service.
As previously stated, I am speaking on the basis of experience and have noted other similar experiences in the past.
It is unfortunate that this remains the case with this establishment.
Again, I am NOT reviewing the food, etc. I believe that the staffing issue here predominates.
Thank-you. -

This place is amazing. The husband and wife are so friendly and fun, I Love them. The food is top notch. I have come twice in a week (im in town visiting). Everything is authentic and reminds me of simpler times dining in Asia. (minus how things are a dollar over there) ;)
I HIGHLY recommend this place, give yourself some time, sit back and enjoy the faint songs of east india as you get swept into the flavors of the Vegetable Korma!
